The 'Swag' lamp is surely inspired by the linear constructions of Naum Gabo, he used nylon filament in his sculptures.

 

Writing of Gabo’s work, the critic Herbert Read said that it hovered ‘between the visible and the invisible, the material and the immaterial’, becoming ‘the crystallization of the purest sensibility’.

 

Made of Perspex with nylon threads. Bulb not included.
